Gerry's passion for hearing health and advanced technology has improved the quality of life for thousands of those who previously suffered with hearing loss.
Gerry was born in Simcoe Ontario and moved with his family to British Columbia in 1958. He went to North Vancouver Senior Secondary and graduated from Delbrook Senior High. He was at North Van High when Harry Jerome was there and was coached basketball by John Braithewaite. He continues to enjoy many outside interests, including jogging, bike riding, hiking and skiing.
Joy Thompson - Clinic Administrator.
Joy's first career was in teaching in her native
Ontario for over
twenty
years. She has been a hearing aid user for the same length of time. Her
experience with the practitioners at Beltone has been by far the most
positive and effective.
Joy enjoys teaching evening yoga classes now, and with her new aids, she finds it easy to pick up the soft voices of her students. She understands, first hand, the difficulties and stresses of living with a hearing impairment, and she feels that the Beltone staff and the instruments offered by Beltone are the best anywhere!
Because she believes so strongly in the need for compassion and understanding combined with top quality service, Joy is pleased to be part of the Beltone team!
